Jobs are INTENSE LABOR / PHYSICALLY DEMANDING. Training is provided.

GENERAL LABORER (
$18 per hour (overtime = $27/hr)) Primary Responsibility: Perform tasks as assigned to assist in the casting and cleaning of steel and iron castings.

FINISHER / GRINDER ($18 per hour (overtime = $27/hr)) Primary Responsibility: Perform visual inspection of castings. Remove excess material from casting surfaces using pneumatic powered abrasive tools.

WELDER ($20 per hour (overtime = $30/hr)) Primary Responsibility: Arc gouge to remove defects from steel castings. Weld castings to fill gouged defects. All welding is done horizontally.

Manufactures highly engineered, high quality steel castings.

Steel foundry that can pour over 100 grades of steel, size range of 1-3500 pounds.

Qualified to Mil-A 11356 Armor up to 2.25.”

Materials produced include: carbon steel, low alloy steel, Austenitic stainless steel, Martensitic stainless steel, Duplex stainless steel, Ferritic stainless steel, Hastaloys, Monel, Inconel, and Armor.

Qualifications:

1. Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.

2. 20/20 vision with corrective lenses.

3. Ability to lift 50 pounds.

4. Ability to work with heavy equipment during entire shift (example: hold hand grinder during shift, etc.)

5. Must be able to work and meet production timelines with minimal supervision.

6. Most work tasks are indoors. Temperatures can be hot.

Other Expectations:

1. Dependability: Be on time and demonstrate regular shift attendance as assigned.

2. Job Performance: Complete duties quickly, efficiently, and safely.

3. Conduct: Follow worksite rules and regulations. Employees who violate worksite rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment

Uniform: You must wear steel -toe work boots and long pants.

Transportation: Transportation to and from work is provided.

Housing: If you live in the optional employee housing, you will share a bedroom. No single rooms. You will share the kitchen, dining area, bathroom, and living room with all your housemates

Rent: rent is $125 per person per week. Rent includes utilities and basic furniture (twin bed per person, living room couch, kitchen table/chairs). 

Housing Deposit: $200 non-refundable ( can be paid thru payroll deductions f.e. $25 per 8 checks)
