ROOM ATTENDANT

Year-round work • $17.00 per hour • Free shared employee housing

About the Position

This is not hotel housekeeping. Room Attendants clean and sanitize two- and three-bedroom mobile homes, cabins, bathrooms, and shared public areas located on the grounds of the World Equestrian Center. The properties are near active horse-training facilities. You will help provide clean, safe, and welcoming accommodations while working as part of a fast-paced, diverse team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize two- and three-bedroom mobile homes, cabins, bathrooms, and shared public areas.

• Sweep and mop floors and complete routine floor care.

• Restock linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.

• Safely use cleaning agents and chemicals in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and established procedures.

• Inspect completed work, maintain cleanliness standards, and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Occasionally lift or move furniture and supplies using safe handling practices.

• Greet guests warmly, protect guest belongings, and provide excellent customer service.

• Follow company emergency procedures and complete other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

• Strong attention to detail, communication, follow-through, and multitasking skills.

• Ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced, diverse team environment.

• Prior professional cleaning experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements

With or without reasonable accommodation, the employee must be able to:

• Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 pounds.

• Walk or stand continuously for up to eight hours.

• Bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.

• Reach, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and occasionally crawl as job duties require.

• Use hands and fingers to handle cleaning tools and supplies; communicate effectively; and perform work requiring close vision.

• Job Performance: Employees are expected to complete duties quickly, efficiently, and safely.

• Conduct: Employees are expected to follow worksite rules and regulations. Violations may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Free Shared Employee Housing

Eligible new hires receive free shared employee housing. The provided home has three bedrooms with two twin beds in each bedroom. The primary bedroom includes a private en-suite bathroom; the other two bedrooms share a hallway bathroom. The home also includes a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a living room, and a dedicated laundry area. Housing is shared with other employees.
